Cropping Your Photo
Permalink Closed

Though you think it might be helpful, dont pre-crop your photo using your computer photo-editing software prior to uploading it to the YourCover design system.  When you use a photo that has already been cropped, you may be limiting the way your headlines can appear, and possibly make your photo look blurry.  Using a crisp and un-cropped photo is the way to go!  (Remember, the best resolution is 1024 x 1280.)

After you have uploaded your photo in Step #1, Step #2 - Crop Photo is where you get your chance for cropping!!  To use the cropping tool, simply click and drag on one of the corners of the moving lined box, and drag the box to wherever you feel appropriate for your photo!  Once you are done cropping, move on to Step #3 - Choose Template, by clicking Save & Continue.

If down the road you are unhappy with the cropping job you did, simply click on Step #2 - Crop Photo in the navigation bar at the top of the page to fix your cropping job.  Go back as many times as you want until you are satisfied!
